Had a scare in town this morning.........

Well not me, but according to reports, the Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks responded to reports of a mountain lion sighting in a new neighborhood "inside" the city limits this morning. They eventually found and killed the lion about 1/4 of a mile or so from an elementary school. Which was just getting into session.

Now he's a "good" mountain lion.....

saw a couple of reports about them in California too, numbers must be increasing a bunch??

I have to agree with you COUG>! The F-ing humans move into areas where wildlife live and what happens? Animals get killed! Stupid!
Yes we need hunting, I understand why we do it, but why kill a CAT that has done nothing wrong!

Humans start buying land and building homes on lakes where I raced boats for years well before they ever moved there. Now they complain about the noise coming from our boats. Guess what happens..? Yep. NO more racing! Stupid ASS HUMANS!!!! KILL THEM ALL!!!!

Adam we have been Racing at Amarillo sence 1960 and about 15 years ago some people bought land close to the track and now they want to close it down cuz it is noisy....No DUH you built your house next to a race track.....they wanted it closed or us to put mufflers on so it would be quiet

a few years ago some STUPID people bought land at the end of the runway at the Airport now the complain the planes are way to noisy can you move the airport?

same with the Animals we move into their territory now we wish to kill them all cuz the are coming on our property.

I agree with Adam & Randy. Though this cat was in the city, he wouldn't have been there had he not been driven from his own home by people buying up all the mountain country. The cat was aged at 1 yr old and weighed over 130#. When they initially found him a city cop just happened to be driving through the neighborhood, and spotted the cat lying on some lady's front porch. The warden (who is a friend of mine) said he tried to dart the cat, but when the cat got restless he had no choice but to dispatch the cat, for fear of it running loose in a heavily populated area.
