Made the chevy boys cry last night

Went to a MMTTPA pull in Windsor MO. last night. The Fords were outnumbered as usual 6-3 in the street stock class. I'm usually the only Ford and I've been holding my own against the Chevy's most nights. Last night Austin Powell (Bret's son) had his truck there for the first run of the season. Mike Moppin also brought his truck. Both very tough trucks that the Chevy boys don't like seeing pull in. Mike got first place with me second and Austin third. Truth is any of the nine trucks could have won,it's a tough bunch of trucks. But the Fords did come through in the end.

Dont they though when we started our seson this year, there was 5 chevy 2 doges, and us 3 BBF in the class, now us BBF are the only one that is there regularly and now 1 the chevy guys is almost back toghether since he put a 572 Chevy toghether to run us in the super street class

We've just been too busy playing catchup after building the new shop, spent too much money, and you know how fast time flys. Should have the Pro Street truck back out next year!

Do you have a link to what the class rules are for street stock?

Basic rules are... 468 max CID, OEM iron intake, OEM iron heads, 4150 carb pattern, no power adders, no solid suspension, 1 ton or less suspension, etc. etc. Here's a link http://www.mmttpainc.com/streetstock.htm

I hear ya there, I only made two out of three local drags, plus the Sturgis drags. Lots of stuff to tie up ones time, and I didn't even build a new shop. Hope you get both trucks out more next year after

Bret, I was trying to figure out that multi quote thing to answer those questions. I gave up and came to try again and you had answered. Thanks. Tell Austin I've been fine tuning on my truck for the next pull he better do the same.LOL!!!!

It's always good to see the Blue Oval out in front, and it's even better that the 1-2-3 went to some good guys as well!
