Tornados in Western Mass...WTF!

Alright, Jon...give me the technical on this one...Killer video of a twister forming over the Connecticut river in Springfield, MA.

Guess it tore up quite a few buildings in the south end. Today was a really good day for storms, but this sh*t never happens 'round these parts

Ha ha ........mother nature bringin' the pimp hand strong...........

They gave the storms here a week ago a final rating, that El Reno storm right after it crossed the interstate was upgraded to an EF5, the other 2 storms to the south and the other one north were EF4's............

We're about out of tornado season, now we just got all this humidity and hot temps..........sucks.

technical...unseasonably hot temps up there, high dewpoints, strong cold front, jet stream overhead, just the right turning of the winds at different levels............presto.

Yeah, this year summer kinda just showed up...methinks we might make out to be quite warm like last year. The cold front motored its' way right through after...Darn nice out now

yesterday it was 102* set a record high for this time of year and hit 100* today and very dry

Where I grew up in upstate NY, north of Albany, we had a nasty tornado in the mid 90's. It went thru my neighborhood and tore up several houses in a neat path. Put bricks from an old mill on the Hudon river through several school busses that were stored in a lot there. They looked like swiss cheese all yellow and full of holes.

Yeah, I remember that tornado, it went through Mechanicville, took the whole roof an one wall off the old DeSienna furniture store without so much as ruffling the sheets on the bedroom furniture displays (crazy)!
