BBF Hero Wins Hot Rod Reunion at Bowling Green!

I have no other details, but when I checked my phone this morning, I had a text message from Dan Hobbs at 1:23 AM reporting that he just WON the Hot Rod Reunion (Gas Class) !!!!!!!
Earlier in the event,Dan said that he was struggling to slow the car down to hit the 9.0 index during his time runs, messing with weight, timing, shift points and fuel mixture. It sounds like he put in enough weight to get it dialed in to a 9.00. I accused hin of "sand bagging" when he described his ballast. Need to get him some Chevy parts to bolt into the trunk.

Had a Awesome night of racing guys!! I made one wide open pass all night ,ran 8.992 on that one (double break out) I treed everyone else enough that I could lift on them. I'll post a couple of pics later

Way to go Dan. Harold,Sooz and I spent the weekend w/Dan at the track and we had a blast. If anyone doubts Dan's ability to win races,just go watch him in action sometime. It was a great event that We will try to make every year from now on.

At 4 cars ,it was me Marvin Benoit(Quick Fuel Owner) Tommy Cooke and another hired gun driving Scotty Richerson's Corvette sponsored by Holley . So ,I'm really proud of this Victory!! I treed them all and drove the big end on them..

Great job Dan, but my tuning on the time runs was the factor, if not you would have been a first round runner-up, j/k great job my friend, if there was any doubters this should ease your mind, there was some great racers there, and the took no prisnors, way to go my man.
