It all depends ... IF the girdle is a MAIN CAP supporter and not simply a FASTENER supporter, then it might be worth the money if the maximum torque the engine will produce dictates it.
MOST, (but not all), main girdles in the marketplace do not fit into those parameters.

On a 600 hp motor is it something you would use?
or do you need to 4 bolt main the block at that hp.?
Or is the stock setup perfect and dont mess with it?

If you canvas a hundred people, there will be SOME who will answer you with the answer you think you should be getting, lol.
Especially those who use Small Block Fords.

we run smallblock fords too............you dont "need" to spend money on a girdle lol. We dont run one on our 550 hp stock block 5.0.........the block will split in half long before the mains give way lol.
