Alright we are in the process of buying a Jeep Comanche (Speeling?) with some friends to build into a mean Mudder, and right now its going to roll with the stock 4.0 if we buy it, but eventually I would like to drop a nasty Smallblock of a mild big block init to roll with, and I know it is going to need a lot of suspision work to handle it, SO I want to ask a few Question to see how hard it is to set up Ladder bars, and how to figure out how long to make them.

Thanks for any help

For mud drags you want the ladder bar as close to level with the frame as possible. Which means building drop brackets in the front. You actually want the front to lift where as in other forms of racing thats a bad thing.

Length depends on several factors but generally longer the better. The ones Im building for George are 6'

You reckon, this is going to be for a sorda sand drag truck, but that every once in a while when I get a wild hair up my ass that I can drop it in a hill and hole pit, and not have to worry to much, you recon a 4 link would be better

big trucks with 700hp can fly quite well.

Dont knock it until youve tried it.
