1966 Ford Fairlane (no engine/trans) ***SOLD***
1966 Ford Fairlane 500XL Roller (no engine/trans),set up for a 289 to 460 with the shock towers notched. Cal Trac bars, 16 gallon fuel cell (no pump or lines), 31 spline axles, front and rear sway bars, sub frame connectors, full rear seat, working drum brakes with line lock installed, decent 16 year old Maaco paint job with rust bubbles on top of fenders and rust areas on front and rear quarter panels, surface rust on floor board riveted patch panels, original instrument panel was replaced with fabricated panel for Autometer 2 5/8" gauges (not included), headliner/sun visors new but not installed (it looks great like it is with nothing up there), trans crossmember (will work with auto or manual), American Thunder Flowmaster exhaust pipes from header/tailpipes with chrome tips (no mufflers), fabricated front support which bolts on/off to facilitate engine installation/removal, Thunderbolt teardrop hood scoop with pins. Car has a clean title, and had historic plates and driven since 1996. I just removed the 521 stroker/C6 from it to put in a new project. Lights, wipers, heat/defrost, turn signals, all work. $1000 Call/text Pat at 732-232-1377. I have a car trailer, and can deliver this car for a fee, based on mileage from 08724 to your door. I will give you a quote if needed. This is a great car to throw a low buck engine/trans in and have some fun burning tires and cruising. Leave the feather duster home! I have small mini spares on there for rolling purposes only. I will leave the Ford "N" case 31 spline Traction Lock differential, with new bearings, races, seal, and clutch packs, for an extra $500. I also have a Summit Racing dual core aluminum radiator with dual electric fans (5000cfm total) for an extra $200. (These items are also on Craiglist and can sell anytime)
Many of you guys saw this at the Bash, and although it's far from perfect, it's still a solid cool car. As soon as I take the engine out of my brother's 47 Ford Truck, I will have a 472/C6 combination for sale, so I will list that as well in another thread. My Dad and I are pooling our money for a 32 Ford 5 Window Coupe project, and we are going to put my 521/C6 combo in there. Most of the stuff I took out of the Fairlane, is going in the Coupe. Should be a nice ride. He already sold his 63 Falcon, so I'm behind the 8 ball. I'm listing my truck too, so that's coming next......
Here's what the potential to look like is, before I removed the 521....
Here's how she looks sitting and ready to go. I decided to leave the radiator and fans in there for anyone here.
The carpet and seats are no longer in the car, but the picture below is to show the dash layout.
The top system with Mufflers is staying, but the Flowmaster pipes go. It's only a 2 1/2" system, so I think it's too small for most of the guys here. Great for a small block though.
Here's the floor pans and underneath pics that some of you were looking for. When I pulled the carpet, there was some moisture under the sound pads. There is surface rust on the patch panel, which scrapped off with a utility knife. I would have sanded it down and repainted, but I wanted any potential buyer to see it for what it is.

thanks, I can't wait to get it. It's been a long time dream car for my Dad, so that is the main push on it, and I'm really starting to love those 32's too. It should be a wild ride with that 521 in there! I'm looking more forward to the time in my Dad's garage putting it together, than the finished product. My Dad is 72, but he still loves these cars like a kid, and I love him so much. He's my best friend, and I can't wait to be with him all those hours in the garage. Not too often you can work side by side with your hero in life.
Rick, Harold, and Mark, it may not be next year, but I will guarantee my Dad and I will be at the Bash in two years, and I will be tearing it up like I did the Fairlane. My Dad and I plan on showing this thing no mercy!
I'm going to be pulling out the carpet, so I can take some pictures of the floor pans and some underneath shots. I'm getting some long distance guys inquiring about it, so I want to show any problem areas in the open.

I'm going to be using my original C6 from the Fairlane, that I gave to my brother Joe for his 47 Truck. That trans was money, and shifted FAST! That one I bought at the Bash last year was a POS, and I never had it right. I went against my better judgement on that one and should have went new. It's so bad, that I can't even sell it to someone in good conscience. I'm going to give it away if someone wants it with the 472 I'll be selling from his truck. The C6 I'm getting back, is a TCI Full Competition Reverse Manual Valve Body, that I bought about 8 years ago. It must have been one of their good ones, because I never had a problem with it.

New Price $2000 or b/o. UPDATES: The aluminum radiator and fans are no longer available with car. The "N" case 9 inch differential is no longer available with car, but I have to leave the 31 spline axles in there to roll this thing away.(what a shame I didn't keep my old 28 spline axles ) I will deliver FREE within 50 miles of 08701, after that, give me your zip code and I'll give you a quote. I'm a free spirited soul, so no distance is out of the question, if you're willing to pay up front for gas money and hotel if that far away.

***SOLD***
A nice guy from Harrisburg, PA picked her up and took her home today. I'm glad he took it with the differential, so I didn't have to take it out again. On a side note, he's coming back to buy the 472 out of my brother's truck, and the C6 I bought at the Bash last year. I'm throwing in the Crites headers, my old exhaust, rear rims, and front rims w/like new tires. A nice package deal to get him going. He was going to put a 390 he had in it. I also forgot to give him the keys to the car. I called him up to have him pull over wherever he was, and I'd run them to him. He only left 5 minutes prior. He said, "Don't worry about it, I'll get em when I pick up the engine." Very cool guy, his wife, kid, and his cousin.

So Happy for you and Dad!
Now that you guys have placed the order on the Deuce, I will say that car will be one bad MUTHA!. Can't wait to see it unload off the trailer. I couldn't think of two better people who deserve it... Best of all, I get to drive behind it in my 47, and pick up the pieces that fall off it.bbf-falcon wrote:Good luck w/32 Pat

Thanks Rick! My silly brother resurrecting a "SOLD" thread. Don't forget Joe, your truck is in Dad's garage now, and I'll be welding in your new engine mounts for that dinky 302.

Yeah that's it! Same number of the guy who bought it. The ad says it has an interior and C6 to go with it, and maybe he fixed up some of the rust. It was gutted out when I let it go. I was wondering why he never called me back for the 472 he wanted to buy for it. Good luck to him. I hope he gets that much for it; I never could with the shape it was in. His photos look like the day he left Jersey with it. Rainy day and leaves on the tree.
