Re: Purdy Valve Covers
Sweet looking covers. Better than the FMS covers
Might have to call Lem to find out the price and availibility

Re: Purdy Valve Covers
Nice, but I'm a little skeptical that they will clear the exhaust valve springs if used on SCJ and P-51 heads. I know that doesn't concern you, because you've got TFS A-460 heads.

Charlie,
Keith will be done at Blakes this week, I can ask him to try these on Blake's P-51s?

Re: Purdy Valve Covers
For lack of a better word I'd call these the phototype. Bruce was nice enough to instigate this project on his own. As fitment, pricing , etc. are discovered we'll report back in the near future.

Re: Purdy Valve Covers
Well since Bruce is prototyping....
If you can make them clear the SCJ/P51 exhaust spring you'll be golden. Instead of making the bolt "tube or cutout" by that exhaust spring go all the way to the top of the cover just taper it back to nothing at the top of the cover. You could still get a nut on it with a nutdriver or small socket and it wouldn't interfere with that spring on the SCJ/P51 head...
