Cobra Jet from Ca.
My Ride... 1970 Mercury Cyclone GT 429 CJ. best 1/4 mile 12.47 @118mph. It's a ( rust free dents everywhere) sleeper & a turn-key driver at this point. Drivetrain is 100% done... Interior, body, paint are not.... I got the car in '99 & I'll never sell it....

Sub frame connectors
I know crites restoration has a subframe connector kit for the earlier cars (66 69) .On my 67 comet I welded some 1 1/2 sq.tubing from the rear to the front torque boxes .Doing this isnt such a big deal .I just got my dimensions correct and put them in .It really stiffened my car up .Do you have headers or exhaust manifolds on your cyclone ?That is a good et for your car be proud of it .Do you have a spare parts car for it .With cyclones you always need a montego sitting around for spares .Good luck Doug
