Chuck Update

Some already know but over the weekend at the NMRA world Finals Chuck wasn't feeling well and had some dizzy spells. Turns out he had blood clots in his leg and lungs. He had surgery yesterday but is doing much better.

I spoke with him a few hours ago and he was bitching about not getting any rest in these hospitals because of all the poking and prodding Chuck Update Poke

Chuck has his cell phone with him if anyone wants to send him a message or give him a call.

Ward, mabye you could give him some advice on how to avoid the doctors/nurses while in the hospital lol!

Been texting Chuck,and the latest he told me is,he will probably have to stay till saturday.This will give the doctors/nurses time to regulate the blood thinner medication to determine what dosage he needs. I think they will have to bring the blood thinner in by the 55 gallon drums for his big butt! But seriously,he seemed to be doing well and is in good spirits.He's pretty lucky.A good friend of mine lost his dad to a blood clot letting go (Anurism).Hang in there big Chuck!!!---RED

He called me this afternoon and said he was feeling a ton better and hoped like Red said to be home Saturday. He must be feeling a good bit better because he told me he thought he had found a new race track buddy................ Cool

She knows him very well now as she has been giving him his baths since he has been there, sounds if if they have hit it off quit well.............. Shocked

My dad went through the very same deal about two months ago. The work they did on my dad is exactly what Chuck said they did for him, and they had my dad going asap................

It tickled him for every one to call or txt he really like that, keep um coming.

Hate to hear youve'e been sick.I somehow missed this post.Do you smoke or take birth control pill's.You know that makes you more likely to have clots. Get Well Chuck.
