Cheapest way would be a stock stroke deal on race fuel with just about any conventional head or SCJ's. If you are looking for a pump gas deal, a 4.15 or 4.3 in a stock block with any of the same heads. You don't need anything fancy for heads, just a good ported set of irons would do, or any of the conventional aluminums. A hydraulic flat tappet, with a Victor intake will make it happen. Cool

Here are some generic builds that have been done many times over and have had great success. https://www.429-460.com/t121-big-block-ford-horsepower-chart-info-gathered-by-djohagin

more cubes be easier to get there with the pump gas I would think. 4.42 bore, 4.5 stroke deals seem to work good.

Damn,I hate saying this but,I agree w/Jon. More cubes would make it easier and you've got them if you need more.jmo

This depends entirely on how well prepped the A429's are. Even as good as these heads are, if they have a hack job on the valves and seats and very poor flow characteristics, you will be dissappointed, but if they are properly set up with good porting and a proper valve job, they will do that and more. Cool
