Don't believe the announcer, I broke the strut rod by ratchet strapping around the lower control arms Embarassed Embarassed Exclamation

Ratchet to the main crossmember, using the hooles for the strut rods to hook the ends in.

Sorry to hear your driveshaft let go, I never did trust those aluminum ends. Of course, I wasted a steel end a couple of years ago, so whatta ya gonna do.

At least you got to hang with some Ford peeps, Ken!

Man thats heart breaker. Mad Just curious, Did you have a solid u-joint in that or was it greasable ? I've broke a cap on a joint but got lucky and caught it when messing around under the car.

Had some buddies over for a pushing party last night, got the 'Chero into the garage. Put her up on jack stands to take the driveshaft out, discovered the real cause of the carnage. The back of the spring perches colapsed and the rear end rotated pale Exclamation I back braced the housing but left the perches stock when I built the car 3 years ago Embarassed . I guess the new cam I installed last winter is making some torque down low eh Shocked !
