BUMP FOR A RE-STICK

Bump.

The idea of allowing 12 inch drag radials has come up in the 10.5 tire classes, I would like some opinions on this as I remember this used to be common in a few classes. I was thinking of allowing it as long as the tires are DOT approved for highway use. Let's hear some opinions!

More car's to come out to the event,

I am gonna be getting flyers made this Friday and gonna talk to a few local papers about a full page add in the sports section.

Drag Radials up to 12 inch tread width will be allowed in the 10.5 power adder and non power adder classes. All drag radials must be DOT approved for Highway use.


I am waiting on a few responses but we may add a 275 radial class.

i was all planned to come up , with the car , but some strange events have occured and all the stars have aligned for a new engine program ......... sorry guys enjoy , i still might just show up ..... and make sure Jason keeps his cloths on for the event

But seriously I hope all can make it, do. I wanted to be in TN so badly to meet people in June but I just couldn't and I hope noone holds that against me or this race. I think it is shaping up to be a great event with the website and having threads about it on 5 different forums myself and I believe it may be on a few more that I don't know of. I really want to meet as many fellow enthusiasts as possible!

After discussing it with all the racers who have given me feedback the Big Tire Class will be 1/8 mile!

What did the track say about this?

Will the track be open Friday night by chance? Me and snake thought about just camping at the track. If not we'll have to come up with a backup plan.

Yes they will be open Friday for campers and such I will be there Friday evening once I get off work and loaded.

Dude, I can't wait! We're gonna bust out early Friday morning and head on up.

BJ prefers that campers get there after 7pm as they run on Friday evenings and don't want to mix up campers with spectators/saturday racers.

Same here man! We won't be staying in a camper,just gonna camp out in the enclosed trailer I reckon. Jason said something about staying at his place also, so we'll see a little closer to the end of the week. I don't care either way.LOL.

Either way is good Jason's real hospitable and would treat you right as well. ZephyrBob and the Leavy brothers and few others camped out last year, I fired up the grill and we all sat and bs'ed late. It was great!

Whatever works, just let me know.

You could bring the truck and trailer over and get a good pit spot Friday evening. We could reserve Rich a spot too !
