pullin an all nighter !!!!

Wow ...didnt realize little Maria would be all this work ............ she has worn Momma and Daddy out ..... i just told momma to go to bed early and i would take care of her another night .... my eyes are burning , i can bearly keep my eyes open . almost like a bad drinkin night gone wrong ......... im getting my butt whoop by a 2 week old ...well almost 2 weeks ..

Reminds me of when Hannah was born thought i was gonna croak but then i wasent the one that had to breast feed every few hours.

Dude, both the wife and were in bed by 9, got up at 5, and both went to the gym and worked out. She lost 100#'s, I was down to a cut buck seventy-five, benched over 340, blah blah blah...............


After the kid was born we didn't sleep for a year, I went to the gym for as month, she never went back. Now almost 8 years later we get in bed by midnight, up at 6, go to work, come lay on the couch.............where's my motherf'in ice cream...............


Kids are awesome, but no way in hell the wife or I will ever have another............

One thing for sure it is a hell of a lot easier when you are 22 then when you are 40. I die now if I don't get my 8 hours every night.

what the hell is 8 hours sleep? some nights I feel lucky to get 5 and when I work nights I get 4, so what the hell is 8 hours sleep????

Yeah, I have to chuckle a bit at this post...I'm 43 & my wife's 38...our kids are 16, 13, & 12. A long time since we've had 2 am feedings! My wife's brother is 37 & his wife is 34...they had their FIRST baby this past Sunday morning. There is no way in hell I would want to do the night feedings at my age...it was bad enough at 31.

My brother in law looks like death warmed over & it's only Thursday.....

back when the girls was that age we did every other night I would take one night and she would take one that way we both got sleep

Bruno I want to make fun but, I'm 41 and my wifes due date is in January so all this is doing is depressing
me. I've been through it before(have 2 girls,2 boys already) but not really looking forword to it at my
age again.

I hear you bro. Ive been there. Mine are 16,13,and 6 and they still keep me busy. I know it's tough now but it pays great dividends in the future.

My Son is the same age as you are...Just wait until your kids have kids and come visit for a month with you working Graveyard !! that was 2 years ago...and I still havent caught up on that missing sleep yet ! Up aal day with them.. 3 hr nap at best..and then an all nighter at work !! and I was 52 then.. Never again...

Nick get up the baby is crying it's your turn no it's your turn I told you to get up it your time she is crying hurry up and get up Nick. Nick I feel for you glad mine is 23 and 21 years old now.Been there done that and hope I don't have to do it anymore and I know that was many year ago but it only seams like yesterday.Spend all the time you can with them time want stop for you and you will be giving her away on her wedding day before long. NOW SLEEP GOOD UNTIL SHE WAKES YOU UP AGAIN TO GET UP TO CHECK ON HER.

My son has a new little girl and she is 6 weeks and Sooz and I try to keep her overnite at least once a week. She is the perfect baby, the only time you hear a peep from her is when she gets hungry. I told my son to enjoy the quiet nites while he can, because when she gets sick or has the Colic he will wish for these nites back.
And Coug I agree about the sleep deal, 4 hrs and i'm good to go. 8 hrs all at one time and I have a splitting headache and feel tired as hell. The older I get the less sleep I need. Hell, we can sleep when we die
