Big block Ford replacement race.........June 22-23ird US-43 DRAG WAY

I would vote for having it combined with the other Ford Day event, just seems it would be better to me. I know most of you will laugh and roll your eyes but any chance there will be a handicap class. There are some of us who have hot rods but we don't have HOT RODS....and before someone else makes the comment yes that statement works more than one way..... I know it is not really drag racing but it is a way for some people to have some fun. Just a thought

This deal is as much a family reunion as it is a race, Bring it on down, I will make Bruno pull a 5000 lb trailer and you can race him

Blake, I think your delay and non-delay just like the Bash is your best bet for classes and maybe a quick race and a 10.5 shootout. I'm in if it's not HotRod Reunion weekend (Fathers Day). Need any help or ideas feel free to call. Thanks for putting the effort forth to make this happen. I'll probably be able to drag Keown's azz down with me.

4 1/2 hours and 217 miles for me. I'll be there. I like the 3 day deal.With fuel prices ,the more days we can play the better!!

Thanks Dano, I don't want to have it that weekend Bowling green is close and would hurt our car count. I probably will need some help, thanks..........

Right now anything is fair game, we will probably have what ever draws the most, And if we can get it in , in the time we have allotted.

Maybe we could get Lem to supply some of the new 6.7's for sorta like IROC drags

I just talked to the track people yesterday afternoon, were trying to work it out.

This deal just came together, I'm on a fact finding mission now. I want to get some dates together asap to give people as much time as possible to get vacations lined out.

We are looking into some dates and race options right now and will be sure to keep everyone informed of what is decided ASAP. A little info on the track, all concrete 1/8th mile, 50ft wide, 1700ft of shut down area, with a very large paved pit area and plenty of paved runner grass pits as well. Track record is 3.66 so we can handle some pretty fast stuff Rocky Flanagn held the worlds fastest powerglide record for a year or so that was set at US43 with a .915 60ft !!!

LOL I know better than that! We have the rights to that on the Oldsmobile site !! Glad to be here, I do tow with a 460 in the dually, pulls like gang busters but just cant drive by a gas station.


We dont have RV hook ups at the track but plenty of room for those wishing to camp.
