Does it seem like not as many people are posting the last 12 months? has the economy hurt hot rodding ? I know here in florida taxes and registration have jumped up in price, the wife and I are talking about just having 1 vehicle (truck) on the road and my motorcycle. I have not been to the dragstrip this year because of $$. And my next project will be a v8 trike because of lower cost registration and no manditory insurance here in florida.

wow its gettin real bad...I left aabout 6 1/2 hours ago (i posted in the drag week thread below this one a few spots) and i just come back on and there has only been like 3 posts since then!!!

man back 8 months ago there would have been like 30 or more..on the old forum anyways.

I tihnk since many people left the old forum and came ehre thats why were not seeing a large number of posts.....in other words its more 50/50 now maybe if we added all the posts from this forum and the other one together we wouldbe back to our old numbers...lots of posts...

The only time I have the time to be on here is at work. When I'm at home i'm workin on Tweety's engine. Got the short block back together,and yesterday I had to do some tweeking on the new Moroso pickup tube . Heads and intake tonight and set it in Tomorrow. T&T this weekend baby.

Thats why i wish chilly would have never said a word about selling it all it did is cause a lot of termoil i've been posting on both forums back and forth because i took a liking to a lot of you guys that have helped me a lot on my way to big blocks and some are there now and some are here it sucks its like the song torn between two lovers feeling like a fool i wish it could go back to normal.

Had to fart around w/brother Bob tonight. All I got done was install Balancer after I honed the center hub. Finish engine tomorrow nite.
