HELP
Hey everyone looking thru a tool box from my grandpa's and i found this anybody ever seen one and have a idea what the year might be.Grandpa use to own a couple model a's back when i was growing up.LONG LONG time ago THANKS

That's a pretty cool find Dave. I think some 8N tractors came with wrench sets that had Ford stamped on them. My uncle has some of those wrenches. I'll see him this weekend and ask him what he knows about them. ---RED

I collect old wrenches & have a couple of that exact Ford Script wrench, and many others as well. It should have a curved machined surface on the open end side, it's made to fit the flat heads head bolts. Ford included a wrench set with a car purchase, because in those days there was not a repair shop on every corner, and many customers were rural farmers. Ford had special wrenches for the flat head valve springs, and had basic wrenches for general repair. Many of those wrenches have dates on them too, a few of mine have 1917 on them. Car collectors look for these, and will pay good money for them, it completes a full restoration.

Looks like maybe 1/2" on the box and 11/16" on the open.
