94 460 mustang brakes and steering
Hi
If I am going to continue with power brakes and have tall valve covers, should I go with a hydroboost system from a 96 Mustang?
Also, it will see a lot of street use, what is popular for this swap to retain power steering?
Thanks
Mike

After much research, looks like power steering is on the way out! Apparently the hydroboost from the 96 Mustang works well.
Thanks

team Z,aje, upr and others makes well designed crossmembers to work with your front spendles and struts.they also have manual steering racks that works well with out powersteering.also aje makes transmission mounts for most transmissions out their nice products simple to install.
save your self alot of hassel look up skinny kid racing and buy the manual brake cylinder kit, this is what i have on my race car and it works well.while you are their buy the front engen mount kit for the motor.its easy to install no need for the motor mounts on the sides of the block and it will leve plenty of room for the headers.
befor you order anything call them and discuss what your intentions are with the car and the install will go smooth

Power brakes
I have the hydroboost brakes in my 93 notch. It was easy to do and works extremley well. I had to fab a new rod for under the dash but all else was fine. I got lines fabed up @ local Nappa. Tall valve covers fit fine and I can get to all my plugs as well. Being older and lazy I love power steering and brakes and it works with the stock pump from 1970. I feel much better about stoping in a hurry if I have to.
