truck issues
what is the fix for these transmissions ??? it seems they have a mind of there own , shifting , bucking , etc ....

The MLPS on my old 94 F150 would get wet from the rain and cause all sorts of problems.... Took Ford a long time to figure it out.

I take it you are on a 1st name basis with the service department with the luck you've had with the trucks you've had!! That sucks!

They shift like shit Nick..........number one complaint with um. More or less live with it or trade it off for a dodge or something.
They also have an adaptive strategy, so anytime you drive it out of the norm its gonna adapt to it.
The old 5r110's were great, allthough it seems Ford cant put a good weld on the converter hubs anymore, in fact I had to replace one this morning for a leaking weld.

Denaro designed these things didnt he ????? ....... no issues with the ecoboost , its been great 22,000 and counting .....

when i picked it up i had to drive it like 7-8miles restart the truck and do the same process 5-6 times ....i was like wtf ......

ok I though it was the superduty, lol. The f150 uses a different trans but same deal. I did a PDI on one the other day and thought the tranny was gonna fall out of it.

the tech should have done the drive cycle test before you got it, but honestly to do it right takes some time, Ford warranty sees it fit to f-ck the tech on the time it takes, so usually they just get the "quick drive" so he can go on to other things to make money to pay the bills.
