How radical can you get with the cam profile on a tfs A460 headed engine? Where do the problems start?

Somewhere just under .860" valve lift unless you use different valve springs.

I rfigured on the springs. I currently run just over .800 and was looking to make a change maybe make more hp up high.Just dont know the right combo.

The cam is 277I 298E @ 50,814I /780E lift,set at 112 deg with 112 lobe sep.

The heads flowed 408 @ .8,419 @ .850. I have the heads off now and am hoping to improve them.My man has sf600 bench and know how but is not familar with the head.

I'd get the heads ported by someone who knows A460 heads, the newer TFS stuff will approach or exceed the 500 mark in the right hands. Thats alot more power than just giving it some more lift.

Is anyone able to tell me where to look for gains on the tfs a460 or is that sacred got to kill you if i tell you info? They are 340cc castings.

I might later but I would like to make gains here at home and kinda learn a little doing so.When I fork the dough out for some cnc ones Im just going to get a new set. Probably sounds a little silly because I know the quickest easiest way to go would be to sent them out for cnc.
