The guys complaining, seem to think this whole thing is setup to embarres them ....i call bs ...... i wanted to put together a big race that brought everybody together ........ bbf brother community ...... if i made a mistake inviting somebody that has 5 tenths on the whole field then i made a mistake ..... but from my knowledge of times that these cars ran last year yellowhorse had the faster car 5.teens ........ the 2 chassis cars that are in the deal are david and dan and none of those guys that i know of ran faster then a 5.3 ....so what im i missing here

Bruno to make it even better, let's just put all the names in a hat each guy pulls from the hat. We can number them 1 thru 16. we can do it like march madness

1 vs 16
2 vs 15
3 vs 14

and so on.

after round one is done, then the second round will be the lowest number vs the higher number and so on until I'm the only guy left standing!!!

I'm not complaining, simply stating the obvious. I have also said I don't care, I'm lining my car up and going. If I'm worried about the guy in the next lane I don't belong there.

IMO that list looks like a good tight bunch of cars, maybe a couple on the faster side and a couple on the slower..............but I dont see any sandbaggin material there. Most of the cars will be close on weight also.


4 grand is a damn good reason to drive 700 miles................

Unless a tube chassis profiler headed 650 inch deal on the hose comes in or something like it.............

I wasn't in retirement Nick. I was just too busy last year too race,and it don't look much better this year either. My car is at Bill Mitchell's shop getting some interior upgrades at this time. I will be at Beech Bend for the HRR the week before this race so I can't make both. My pos isn't fast enough anyway. Sounds like it's gonna be fun though.

Make no mistake Nick if I can come I will be there representing Circle R with my little A headed 528 N/A. Who knows I may have an advantage being a little underpowered compared to most of the guys.

Couple things....

No way in heck I will have the fastest car there, especially if KY JELLY brings his deal out and puts it on us Yankees . And I agree with some of Barney's point about kinda feeling baited but I don't care. Baited or not, it doesn't matter as I'm going to have a good time racing and talking sh!t. And i'll treat it like a grudge race. Who's got the best hustle. The fact is there will always be a faster car. Only way to find out is line up and go Hell, I lined up agaist Wilhelm last August during our Ford race up here and got smacked. But I did what I could to win...anything can happen. I GUARANTEE I'll have a better chance at getting down the track than most.
