hooker header modified 94 mustang
some peolpe are saying that they dont or havent had any problems getting the hooker header to fit the 94-98 mustang, well my experance hasent been plesant.i am useing the skinny kid front and mid plate to work in conjunction with the powerglide.their is plenty of room behind the bbf to get to the bell houseing bolts with this kit.the powerglide is tight but it works perfect with the AJE tranny crossmember.
here is pictures of the header on the passenger side drivers side is yet to be done it should be alot easyer.i had to knotch the header flange to bypass the crossmember.the header will have to do until i can get a set of headers made for it.

Interesting "How" far foward the engine is... I'd like to see the rad and fan setup.
I dimpled the firewall (88 Mustang) to get trans bolt heads to clear. The SN 95 has a ton of room in the trans tunnel!

Looks good Larry. Nice pics.
What type of heads are those ? Do they have CJ style exhaust ports or regular Dove ?

here is the pictures you wanted i dont see a ton of room around the powerglide with the way the plates are designed.as a matter of a fact their maybe only about 1/4 of an inch more or less of clearance.yes i can drop the motor down about 2 inches but this will just get in to moor issues with the headers possably hitting the pavement on a hard take off.
i have other issues with the steering shaft on the drivers side now.i had to buy a double u joint to possably help me get the shaft through the opening of the header.their is no room to modify the header in any direction so i will just have to make the steering mod work.
