hello i am running a jeep cj7 with a ford 429 c6 auto it is a dune toy but is road leagle and it rips

well i live in allendale mi. the jeep is up at silver lake sand dune at the inlaws we have about 15 bbf in the shop some in jeeps others on the shelf most are bone stock and are late 60s and early 70s most are compleat we have 5 compleat jeeps with 429 460s in them someday when the wife lets me i want to do a 750+hp one but for now i am just running a stock 429 in the works ov new cam right now just to help i have seen lots of stuff in this that made me join so if i can figure out how to put up pic i will do asap

Sand looks like sand but I initially though of Silver Lake. Been there many times. Always enjoyed it! There is a 'new' off road park out this way on US-12 (Michigan Ave) just a few miles west of Michigan International Speedway. It is the old Michigan Aggregates gravel pit (aka Bundy Hill)...huge pit that just shut down a couple of years ago. Another local even coming up July 14th is the Onsted Kiwanis Car Show on the infield of MIS (www.onstedcarshow.com). If you want more 460 stuff, I got a ton of it looking for a new home!

how many acre is that old pit sound like fun is it private or goverment run

Your jeep is the one with the rooster tail. Nice.

I have a CJ5 with a AMC401 in it and it is way hard to drive becuse of the torque in that short frame. Twists it a bit, I gues dirt or sand would be a little better for all that though.
