A 604.81" engine is 4.625" bore x 4.500" stroke.
A 604.79" engine is 4.562" bore x 4.625" stroke.

4.5 bore 4.75 stoke will do it too. The cheapest by far is with the 4.625 bore and 4.5 stroke. A 598 with the 4.6 bore and 4.5 stroke will leave some material in the bore for future clean up honing or boring though and would be a good choice if using a new block. Most blocks are at their max with the 4.625 bore, and ring packages become more difficult to find and very expensive past that bore size.

You can use either block. The 4.600" X 4.500" = 598 CID is one of the most common engines out there, and is very user friendly.
