BBF newbie from Finland
Hi All!
Been reading this and the other BBF board for some time to accumulate information about the big motors. US Fords have always been my "thing" since buying my first Hot Rod magazine in mid 80's (found a motivation to study English as well), and reading an article about nascar clevelands.
I've owned a small block Mustang since late nineties and recently accumulated a more "junk". My latest wonder is a Torino GT, which I ended up partly trading from a buddy. It's an original BB car, but needs to be fully gone through. Looks better in pics than it really is. Not much rust though. So, I'm up to a challenge to build my first BBF drivetrain, and could use help when thinking my engine building choices.
Here's a pic of the Mustang and Torino (while still owned by my buddy) on a road trip in Sweden, where they have the biggest cruising event in Europe. We've tried to participate when we can to preach the gospel of blue oval horsepower. During the trip in the pic below I had a pleasure to beat a ~900cc Yamaha in 60-150mph acceleration with my 408 Mustang. LOL.
Anyway, all the best for everyone and best of luck in the summer season with whatever you're running!
