Got a photo from Racecraft today.
New 9" stock suspension with some adjustability and lighter than my old Moser. New axle flange width to width is 48.75" the old is 57.5", lost a few lbs. on that. Lower control arm brackets are the 90 degree style, lower wheelie bar brackets are incorporated in to the shock brackets. It will also come with Strange lightweight brakes to match the front ones Hopefully it will ship out this week, then have new and lighter axles made .

Re: Got a photo from Racecraft today.
I got a phone call from Racecraft today, the new housing shipped out UPS, brakes and axles are being drop shipped from Strange. I still have some more stuff to get, but this will keep me busy with the six day weekend coming up.

Just got back from the powercoaters. Axles and brakes should be here next week. Sunday morning I'll wash it out real good and start hanging it in the car using my old shocks for now.

Doug
What do you mean it has the 90 degree rear arm mounts? Do the rear control arms now run straight back instead of angling outwards? I've been kicking around ideas on what to do with the rear on my old Futura. I'm thinking of keeping the factory style setup instead of going to ladder bars...

Yes it does. You can't see them in the photo but it also has internal bulkheads on the tubes.

That's correct Jon. The lower control arms have a 15 degree angle on them, the 90 degree brackets remove that angle and they now run parallel to the center-line of the car, this also requires the use of a lower wishbone. I already had one but I went ahead and bought Racecraft's, much better design and stronger and had them installed their housing bracket. You can see the rod end mounted to the bottom of the housing in the 3rd photo.
By the way, Happy Birthday .

Re: Got a photo from Racecraft today.
Yesterday I went over to Mike's and helped him pull the engine out of his car, then headed home to work on my junk some. Installed my mock-shock pieces so the axle is at ride height, fitted the new wishbone from Racecraft and got everything square and lined up. Then this morning I double checked everything one more time and tacked the brackets in place. Before I do the final welding, I run the suspension through it's full travel and make sure everything is good. Hopefully my axles and brakes will be here this week

I haven't weigh everything but the short answer is yes. Axles and housing are shorter than my old Moser unit, and the Strange brakes are lighter than the Wilwoods I have.
Axles and brakes came in, time to make new brake lines next.
Re: Got a photo from Racecraft today.
Looks great Doug! I always thought your car was a back half 4 link car. Boy was I ever wrong!

According to Dave Morgan's recommendation on my software, ideally it will be somewhere just behind my shifter at floor pan level. But I'll have to re-map all that with all the changes I've made.
I did get the brake lines done today
