2nd gear trans brake
Has anyone ever seen a c6 brake that would lock in second. I've seen some for the Turbo 400.

Re: 2nd gear trans brake
I haven't been able to find anything numerically lower than a 3.50 for the front. The few times I looked I cam up dry.

I have ran 3.31 fronts(very hard to find) and 3.08 fronts common in alot of early 80's trucks. I think I still have some 3.08's I could sell if your interested I can look for them in the shop.

14" vacuum class. Factory iron block and heads. 4150 carb. I'm running 35x10.5 boggers at all 4 corners.

208 right now. I intended on running a 205 but it wouldn't fit without building a new crossmember. I'm liking the sound of keeping the 208 and running a 3.08 gear.

Switch to the 205 with the 35 inch tires you may still need the 3.08 gears. I ran a 205 with 3.50 in the rear and either the 3.08 or 3.31 in the front with a low ratio c-6 and 38 inch boggers rear and r-85 buckshots in front my engine was a 495 making 760 hp iron block and heads(cj's) no vacuum requirement with a dominator. In my opinion it ran very well.

See if you can dig up the 3.08 gears. With them I'll have several different options. My engine doesn't make what your did, but It absolutely feels like a monster. With a little fender trimming I'm going to try the R/38x11 combo also. My buddy showed out with that tire combo a few weeks ago.
