Seriously.....a buddy of mine has a good deal on Racetech 225" hardtail. Been looking to sell it. Set up for a BBF. Includes trans. Complete roller. Just add converter and engine. Good Car. 96 model. Black with candy purple powdercoat chassis. Located in north east Alabama. Owner will be at the BBF race with his door car.
Re: welcome .....
David,
I've definitely been looking at them. My plan is to finish my Mustang, sell it and buy another piperack. There are some good deals out there right now too. Been talking with my brother about it and we may just end up pooling our resources and get one car together that either one of us can drive. Trying to work on two is a down right PITA!!!

220" American hard tail
Howdy gang, I guess I'll post some pics of my junk on here too. From what I understand it was built in the 70's (?) and raced in Cali with a NA BBC then made its way up here to the Great White North and was bought by the Childs' family and repainted. It soon got a blown alky SBC and was the first Dragster in the state of Alaska to break into the 7's back in the day.
I've owned it now for about 4 years and have been trying to get it in the wind ever since. It took a little head scratching to shoe horn the 385 series and JW Glide between the narrow rails but it's a done deal.
I'm hung up on procuring a set of DBL's for the rear so if any of you pipe rack freaks have a usable pair gathering dust maybe we can make a deal I need a pair of 17"X16" DBL's with a 5 on 5 1/5" BC with a 3" BS, pretty standard stuff for the bigger diggers and FC's. (Go easy on me kids, I'm tryin' to raise a 5 year old and build a Race Car at the same time lol).
Here she is...."The American Way" Dragster.
The Crew Chief, Joshua Tai
Some pics of the build
Before:
After:
I've got lots more pics but I'll save them for later.
Thanks for looking
Rob
