How is the weather looking for Fri / Sat? I looked on 3 sites and they vary from 10% chance of rain to 40% chance on Friday.

It's going to be hot, in the mid 90's and humid. Rain chances change on a daily basis around here, but they're only giving 30% of pop up t-storms on Friday and none on Saturday.

Thank God we are qualifying at night---should be pretty nice in the mid 70s around 10 pm.

How long of a haul is it from OKC? I'm heading out early Thursday, but don't think I'll be in town till 7 or 8 that night.

Leaving Tuesday early evening. My brother and I are going to trade driving duties. Depending on where we are we may stop, we may not. However we definitely want to roll in the area Thursday evening around 6-7-8 to get a full nights sleep. Since the gates don't open at the track till 12 noon Friday anyway, I think we will be ok.

Have fun this weekend guys. I'm not going to make it this year. Too many work commitments. Hopefully we'll be back next year.

I was standing there when that happened That's when I started loosening front struts and airing down.

It is difficult for a weather man to be totally wrong here in southeast Michigan.
The beating down sun will be shining brightly, a rain cloud will come overhead and it will rain "cats & dogs" for a half hour or so and then the sun comes back again for the rest of the day.
This happens on the average of twice a week, LOL.
