Onan Generator

Mine says to only run an Onan oil filter. I've got a Fram filter that fits it. Has anyone ran a different brand on theirs?

I wouldn't put a Fram filter on a lawnmower, or a generator in your case.

My Onan has a Fram on it. It's been running fine for years. I think it would be fine to use another brand other than Onan.

for that app Fram will work fine. Donaldson makes a good one too for that app
