BBF Shootout Thanks
Well i dont know were to start , from Andy @ us43 in having us and giving a great track to race all the way to meeting everyone from the forum. I had a blast , my family and my self had the best time racing out here this weekend. I learned so much about suspension and tuning and how to make this car get down the track. I would like to thank all the sponsors that came on board and supported our event. I really believe it was anybody's race and it showed tonight.
I really want to say so much , but im exhausted ....... i will add on throughout this thread.
and again its like a family out there , meeting new people and reuniting with old ..........
oh and i want to say one thing ..... I PUT GEORGE ON THE TRAILER

Where to start......
A big thanks to Barney for the Torco 118
A huge thank you to Bruno for the nitrous bottles.
Great meeting Jon (Fabio), Scott, Blake, Dan, David, Ward, Lee, and everyone else that really gave us a warm welcome. I had a great time meeting everyone and racing with you guys. It was so much fun. My wife and brother also had a great time and liked meeting everyone They also got some good pics and vids which i will post up tomorrow when we stop at a hotel It is 400 am as I write this and we are just a few miles from the Oklahoma border. We are making good time.
The car didn't perform as I had hoped (5.60swas the goal) but it didn't matter as I had a great time and the car was still running tonight!

Re: BBF Shootout Thanks
I am scrolling through...trying to figure out...
Who Won...what? Dan-o ?? David?? Cool40?? Bruno??
Was there more than one race...was it heads up off a ladder, or handicapped (bracket style)?
It sounds like it was more fun than the race I went to for sure.
How about a "Results" posting...or did I miss it...?
Thanks,
Keith

Re: BBF Shootout Thanks
Bruno, Doing fine thanks, was getting over the tail end of a summer cold. I was going to drive up anyway..
When I got to Doug's house, he had gotten the call that his sister was in the hospital, as I was on my way over.
Things are ok.. She is home now..just a scare...
I HAD planned to kick back with GDog and the PA Boyz and relax at this one...oh well....Next time

Re: BBF Shootout Thanks
We had a blast as usual!! Meeting new people putting faces with screen names is always a good time. Still feels like a family reunion every time we get together and the racing is just icing!! Car ran well and a little bug kept us on the trailer for first round but parts are already ordered and she'll be out again soon Thanks for putting this deal together and already looking forward to the next reunion!! Everyone travel safe and we'll see y'all soon

We had a blast! Was pretty disappointed in the cars performance. Guess it was the terrible air? LOL
Big thanks to Bruno and Blake for getting this deal together. Best BASH yet!!
Got to meet some new faces and see who's behind the keyboard.
Really want to thank the Snake and 61Coon for all the help in the pits Saturday morning!!! Never could have got it all done without you guys. Oh, and Blake I like the Green oil!!!!!! Thanks dude. The fish was gooood too.
Paul, It was good to finally meet you all. Your car is Sweet!! Stop by Vegas for me and put a $20 on 21 black for me!
Got to thank Fabio for the 6an plug. He ain't as bad as everybody makes out.
It would be nice if we could do this more than once a year.
Hope everyone gets home safe and sound.
I'm proud of my slowest qualifier award!!!!

I think at one time our cars ran almost identical numbers. Nick and I both learned a ton about putting big power down a slick hot track

My kind of racing for sure ... HEADS-UP, Pro Tree. Run what you brung and hope you brought enough.
I saw ONE hole shot win ALL day and night ... and, it happened in the final of the big block Ford race ...close, really close.

droped in
I was driving down through the area and stopped in on Saturday for a few hours. It was a great event and got to see some good racing with Ford power. I was on a time crunch due to having to check in off of leave by a certain time in NC, wish i could have stayed for the whole thing. I met a few of you while i was there and it was great to put some faces to screen names.

It was a great line-up, you could've covered the spread with a small blanket. Could've been anyone's race.
