Re: LarryT
Larry needs to get the "thrash" award, he texted me a pic of the backseat of his truck full of engine parts..........like boxes of pistons and valvesprings and stuff............that was at 5 pm wed evening as I was leaving work to go home and load up..........
they put the damn engine together...........with a small domestic dispute setback lol...........put it in the car, got it fired up....fixed a solenoid issue...............drove 400 miles...........and ran a 5.5XX off the trailer in qual saturday................I dont give a crap that is impressive in my book, and shows the dedication all these guys put into this deal...............
I have spoke to Larry many times on the phone and worn pms and text messages out............I'm glad he showed I got to shake the man's hand.
Its too bad about the headgasket deal, I feel that car was gonna be a force to rekon with............

Re: LarryT
yea it stung a little to see the water coming out of the pipe when i returned from borrowing the nos lines from jon.we would have been their for first round qualifying if we had discovered the brand new fuel solinoid was bad earlier friday morning.also the cam we put in has a different fireing order i discovered that after reading the cam card for the 10th time.
when i pulled in at the hotel 6:45 saturday morning i had not had any sleep in over 3 days i remember telling jon 2 days but i had forgot about driveing all night to get their.
even though we had the problem it made it all worth it to see all of you and see that mother go down the track!i joke you not as hot as it was i got chills as chris did the burn out
we will find out in a day or 2 what the story is on the head gasket.plan is to fix it and try to hit a money race this weekend
