Victor 460 intake?
I've got the intake off my 572 and I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of their plenum work they would be willing to share . Nothing has been done to mine and I've heard they can use a little work. Thanks jason

There is a photo or two in the "matching components" section on my website but, with a 572 I wouldn't extend the runners.
Re: Victor 460 intake?
Should I cut down the material where the runners meet in the plenum and take some off the roof of the inside runners at the plenum?

Squaring-off the front and the back, shortening those center walls and radiusing those runner roofs is very beneficial.

Square the runners in the plenum? What end are ya talking about squaring off?

Removing the center rib on the floor and slanting that flat floor slightly toward #4 and #5 runner will help with somewhat evening exhaust temperatures and therefore fuel distribution.
I haven't noticed any power gains or losses from doing that though.
Squaring-off the sides seems to do absolutely NOTHING other than to enlarge the plenum area a small amount.
Re: Victor 460 intake?
Thanks for the advise! Much appreciated .

If your running a nitrous plate it's a good idea to square off the cloverleaf.
Re: Victor 460 intake?
