Um NO Ive been too busy running the Meineke.
I havent given up. Just on hold for right now. We have a VERY few things left on it b4 it goes to the powder coater.
Want to buy a REALLY busy Meineke shop?? lol 7 days a week. Mon-Sat 730-6pm Sunday 9 to 4. I barely have time to mow my own grass!
maybe if I stick enough $$$$ away for a rainy day we can run Pro Mod next year! thats the plan anyway.
there is always a search for good techs and managers. Longevity in this business seems to be about a year, sadly. Good techs always want to run the store when they need to stick to wrenching. People are the biggest challenge. AND customers arent always fun to deal with either. We get about 80-100 cars a week! I think I should have opened a subway or a dominoes pizza!
I am kind of at that point where I could turn the shop over to a STRONG manager. and free up some of my time. Just have to find that guy....
EDIT: it didnt help my Want to get it done attitude when NHRA cut the Friday night RAGE race out from their schedule. I sold my trailer specifcally because we had a place to race here in indy, now we dont. We are now faced with the dilema to run outlaw and spend money on better blower etc, or to run one or two NHRA events a year and buy carbon fiber brakes. the few things we have left to buy are mainly to comply with new NHRA rules. and we have no where to race!
