are you wanting to run slicks if so I would say a 28x10.5 stiff sidewall with that weight the shorter tire will help on the 1/8 mile times with your gears what are you turn the engine in rpms you can go to wallace racing with your hp,rpm and tire size to get close

If it's a 16" rim your slick height/OD choices are going to be limited a little vs what's available out there for a 15" rim.

Hoosier or M/T for the brand if it's a smaller OD slick.

Several of the trucks I've seen at a couple of the local tracks have been shod with 32-12.5's. and it's got me to wondering the same thing, what size/width. My motor build should be closer to the 700hp mark though, and I am looking at running 4.10's with a spool. It currently has 3.73's with a posi.

I have 29.5x10.50 hoosiers on mine with 4.10 gears and spool. The truck has less that 600hp though.
We spin a little on the launch but it's coilover shock/spring related. Just can't swing buying the good ones.
