Almost bad.
The oil filter is in a bad place on TTB trucks with a 460. This was after a nasty race pit with a big jump. I put a 1.5 lift coil in to keep this from happening. Now I'm going to build a bump stop.

I would recommend switching out to an angle mount filter adapter.

I bought the FRPP unit and couldn't get it to fit any which way. Anything wrong with a bump stop? Filter is about 3" away from diff.

Nothing wrong with a bump stop! I have them on the front of my ranger simply to keep the diff away from the oil pan and keep the shocks from bottoming out.

Remote filter works better than bump stops.

Can try ph16/51034 oil filter. It's an inch or so shorter

Who makes a nice remote unit? I don't want anything that could ever give me problems. One or two filter unit? I intend to use jomar filters.

I've always used the Moroso twin filter with no problems.

Re: Almost bad.
A long time ago I used an adapter from L&L products. It was nice because it rotates on the filter bolt so you can clock the hose outlets where ever you want. Then just use the Moroso filter adapters (or they have their own as well).

I'm deciding on parts now for the remote unit. give me your opinions.
For the block adapter I'm considering Moroso 23682

Its -10 in and out.
For the filter adapter I'm considering hamburgers 3300
http://www.hamburgersperformance.com/site/?d=437&dt=108&Keyword=3300
Its -12 in and out
EDIT. Now i think I like the moroso 23764 better.
I'll have to have each line 24-30" so I was going to use -12 hose.
Will the block adapter being tapped -10 give me trouble? Ive seen some that were -12, but I didn't like where the ports cam in and out. The 90* style of the 23682 would eliminate 2 90* elbows.
Is -12 hose too large? There isn't a ton of money difference between 10 and 12. I'd like to use whatever is the safest for my engine.
