I run a 6al analog but if my memory serves me correct I read some where before I bought my 6al the the analog and the digital carry a different style coil and the digital has a few more options than the analog.

If they are both the 6AL, the digital uses less current to run so, the battery will stay higher, longer.
Unless of course you have an alternator.
