our super stock rules allow anything less than 500 ci, single carb, and no turbos

pretty much the same here, except were limited to 472 ci

ya that would be a lil harder but still same sort of thing. Im thinking about a big bore and small stroke u need the velocity for the airflow of the head I just havnt done it yet

Go to the ENGINE TECH page I bumped an older blog on just that topic,, I also plan on doing a large bore short stroke engine, I have the A heads and A460 block as a foundation already,, Bret gave me some good starting points, and came highly recommended as the man to seek for good info and experience.....

yes, thats a good foundation for some very decent power thats for sure i think it will want to turn some r's thou but no problem with that in truck pulling
