BG NMRA world finals pics

I just got back from the track so I figured I would post a few pics for those that are interested. It started raining about 1am and didn't stop till about 8am so things never started till after 1pm. I got to meet a whole schwack of cool people like Lem, Blake, Damon & Tracy, Dan, Charlie, Chuck and his parents Eddie and Ms Sue, Bass Boat Bob, kY jelly, Red (61coon) and probably a few more that I can't remember. They only got one T&T run then one round of qualifying.

I was messing around with my camera and it's continuous shot function so I didn't get as many good pics as I was hoping. These are from the T&T runs.

I should mention that there is probably close to 1/2 the amount of cars that were there last year. The car show area was practically empty just like the stands. Tomorrow I will try and get some pics of the pit area.

I missed it with the camera and I can't remember what it was. His first qualifying run the clocks didn't work and his second qualifying run I missed. Damon was trying to slow his car down a couple tenths and Chuck is hoping to break that 10.0 mark. Neither of them have been successful so far.

OK, now here is a funny update. We have been cooking sausage and chicken for the last hours for jambalaya and we had the fire alarm go off a couple times. The fire department just showed up at our door with the sirens blowing to see if everything is alright. DOH! I just about had to give them all of Damons spicy jambalaya.
