Had Lenny at ucc tighten up the converter . I went through the engine cleaned up the intake and new springs, no changes, same pistons cam and edelbrock heads. I almost crapped myself when I saw the slip! Last year it went 9.76 N/A this year it went 9.60 and 9.11 on the same 250 plate kit .

Re: In the 8's
Thanks! It was 82 degrees out with 98% humidity and I thought this pass is gonna suck. I'd like to see what it does on a 65 degree day.

Good job Jason. It's a good feeling for sure. That slip looks like my First 8 sec. pass to the letter. Good job,but like Fabio said,it just gets worse from here.

Re: In the 8's
10.33 at 133. Since I have removed close to 100 lbs. New motor should have about 70 more HP I hope. Going from 11-1 comp to 13.6-1. Added more stroke also to go from 501-521. ...... There was more left in the 10.33 motor. I believe it was a 9.99 with a little work. Looooooong story on why I pulled it.Had to.
