Centerline Wheels
Has anyone had any issues with them? I've been waiting almost 2 months for my convo pro's. They still haven't finished the 4th wheel. I'm wondering if they are always like this or if its a fluke thing, let me know how they have been to you. Thanks

Re: Centerline Wheels
Hmmm.... Well the had to make them, they were out of stock. But they are still drilling them apparently, and sealing them. Yadda yadda, same thing they have been telling me for the past how many weeks. I don't get it, these wheels should already be on my truck at this point. I don't understand the dilemma. And all I can do is wait. I cancelled the order at the tire shop and was going to order through centerline directly but I'm still on hold so to say. Really bummed out... I probably wont even get to race this thing until next season by the looks of it

Can't find any in the 5x5.5 lug pattern. Unless I call and see if they can custom drill themrichter69 wrote:tell them to shove um up their ass and get some welds or somthing........

Re: Centerline Wheels
That's the exact problem. But I was supposed to be waiting 3-4 weeks for them to be made and shipped, then they told me another week because they weren't made yet, then another because they had to make them still, then another week to seal them, now they still have to drill one.
That's why I'm wondering what's going on, I've been waiting this long and just keep getting the run around.

Centerline Wheels.
I bought two new wheels directly from Centerline this year in the 5x5.5 bolt circle for my 55 F100, and they had to make them, and it took just over 2 months to get them and I'm in California. They were not the best at returning messages either, but I did finally get them, and they were perfect. I got the 3 piece "Apache" style wheels. Centerline is kinda slow, but they will get the job done. Customer service in keeping you up to date on your order could be much better though.

Re: Centerline Wheels
Would have been alot simpler to have a machine shop redrill for 4.5 bolt pattern.

Re: Centerline Wheels
without a doubt make the axles fit the wheel, resale will be easier also

Rick either that or just call Mosier and have them make you a set of axles for it in 4.5 x 5 they are not that expensive

Then I need the drums re drilled, and then the front has to be redone as well

FWIW,......
You might see if Ol' kjett can hook you up on a set,..... since he thinks he knows where so many 5x5.5 b/p wheels are.

Re: Centerline Wheels
I had a problem with the convo pros too. No problem at all on the fronts, but the rears were 15"X15" and took about a month to get. Their explanation to me was concentricity issues, wheels were out of round after the centers were installed. Eventually got mine, and have had zero problems with them. I wanted to buy Welds originally, but the price, especially the rears floored me - so I went with the Centerline Convo Pro's.

Re: Centerline Wheels
Looks like I'm ordering a set of summit fast five wheels, same M/T's out back but skinnier ones up front. With the money I'm saving I will be buying some new rear axle shafts and a disc brake setup for the front. The one thing I'm having trouble finding is the spindles for the front of an early 80's f100 to use the rotors with.

Re: Centerline Wheels
The centerlines would work perfect its just that they are taking way too long. Its not worth it, I'm going to switch to the common lug pattern. I'm swapping axle shafts anyways and then I'll have discs up front which I don't need but will be good to have. I really love the looks of the convo's but damn when will I get them?

Just scrapped one last week.
I have 2-3.5x15 and 2-14x15's Convo pro's on my Foxbody I would sell.

Oh well, my fault I guess. Should have told Centerline to shove it a couple weeks ago
EDIT- I'm not sure if those rear wheels would work because of the width. The ones I had ordered were 15x10's with a 3 3/8 backspace.
