1967 fairlane wagon tire ?

whats the biggest tire you could fit on a 1967 fairlane wagon? wondering if a 28 to 30 inch tall tire and 10 inches wide would fit

Looks like you'll gave to take some careful measurements. I don;t think many of our members have experience with that particular model.

If the rear frame on the '67 Fairlane wagon is similar to the 66-67 Ranchero, there won't be much room for slicks. If I remember correctly even a 9" wide slick was going to be a tight fit on my '66 Ranchero without doing some cutting.

I ran 10/65s on my 66 Fairlane but that was in the late 60s an this old brain don't remember what the real measurements where.

a 10inch tire will fit with proper back spacing i have a 66 sedan fairlane i run ss/d 427 i have had it 40 years in 1974 i cut a 15inch dodge wheel in two welded a vw front half to it to get spacing ran 127mph for 3 years before i could afford super trick wheels
