They must be doing better on their track prep last time i was there i loaded mine up after 2 passes. Good thing it is a super nice facility.

what has been said by all the racers the track prep was the best of the best that day ..... there was more grip at the 660' then the starting line .... and that was documented by several big teams using there grip torque meter Wink

The only time I have ever had a issue at holleysprings was when the track temp 130 deg. It's hard to make any where work when it is like that. We always have a good time there.I mostly run their grudge stuff.

Year before last they had some issues there even dragsters were getting loose on the big end . It was bad slick the day i was there. Not knocking the place just telling it like it was , and i have been at some hole in the wall tracks never that slick though even in high temps.

Wow. In addition to the wheel stand, that was an awesome race to.

The shutdown looks short there---is it as short as it looks or is that just an illusion?

I think it has been managed by some different folks in the past.This makes all the difference in the world.I wouldn't be afraid to go back to it now Randy

the same thing happened to me this year at GB I went through the 1/4 mile traps on my rear wheels at 160 mph. It wasn't a sticky track that caused it. I had way too much wing on it. It was about 15 degrees its now about 1 degree.

well he went thru the traps @ 193 in the 1/8 on drag radials ........... thats a BMF !!!!! ...on the back tires of course Shocked

It is some what of a illusion but the there is a big turn around at the end and the shut down is all pretty steep up hill which helps alot.All in all I would say it is not any worse than US 43 which is not bad at all. I have run mid 5's in my car there with no problems stopping at all.
