Well back in the mid sixties, Bill "Maverick" Golden was the first with The Little Red Wagon which was a very well known match race truck with a 426 Hemi, that turned into a wheelstander that was booked in for shows at various strips around the country. However one good idea deserved some copies, and soon there was a Corvair truck wheelstander with a BB Chevy and if my memory was correct, a lessor known Ford Econoline wheelstander with a 427 FE engine. I have a big collection of car magazines from back in that era, but it would probably take a month of Sundays before I ever found the article on the Ford Econoline wheelstander. Food for thought? Very Happy

That would make a cool tow vehicle with 7.3 in it. Maybe a set of duals out back.

Mike is correct, it's going to be a tow truck. I've been working on a drawing to plan all the details. Chassis built from 2x6 rect. tubing, tandem 9 inch drive axles from Differential Engineering, and a Ford V-10 with the 3V heads for power. I have a lot more drawings to do before we begin the actual work. Today my brothers and I even discussed extending the cab.
