Has anyone ever wanted to disect an a460 block? lol

Just as the title says. Figured a sonic test would tell you what you need to know.Are there any other areas of the block where knowledge could be gained by dissecting the block? The maybe a dumb question but i figured i would ask. I have a donor block.

Just figured i would ask before i throw it in the scrap pile.

Scrap pile? Must have torn the crap out of of that block to "throw it in the scrap pile".

Was given to me by a friend. I wanted to see the block before he junked it. Too far gone to repair. Main caps are long gone. Two cylinders have holes and it got into the oil galley above the cam.

Now thats what I call doing it right! Must have been a hell of a ride when it let loose

A rod exiting the engine at 8,200 rpm does a fine job....no need to buy a big saw
