If you want to see video of the pulse jet running, go to "You Tube" and enter "Bob Maddox" he's the builder, you have to look through his videos, there's about 5 pulse jet videos of engines & cars & bikes he's put them on. About 6 videos are my engine on his test trailer. There's videos of it's proto type in mild steel there too, it looks grey, bare steel. It gets run to destruction (tail cone collapse) in one video. Bob Maddox is a regular guest on the show "Myth Busters". He also has a web sight www.maddoxjets.com

Have you actually runit with the jet?

Only testing, SCTA won't let me run above 150 with out about 4K in safety gear, the truck has gone 170 mph on just the blown 460. With the new blown 514 and 10% more overdrive it will go faster, aerodynamics are a bigger issue than power. The pulse jet engine adds over 1000 lbs of thrust, it should easily make 225 mph if it can stay put on the ground, and not have the air over the cab create so much lift the truck goes on it's roof.... This next year will be adding all that safety gear as my budget allows.
