Chebby pistons
I know,...I know...Flame away, guys. I have good friend looking for a set of 454 pistons, either stadard or .030 Flat tops or small domes OK. New or good used ones for a budget street truck. I'm sure no help in the bowtie parts dept., but I told him I'd ask.
Anybody got 8 paperweights that didn't break?

Re: Chebby pistons
That would be perfect, Dave, but he's got the rest of the pieces. He has a pair of nice blocks ready to assemble, one is standard, one is .030. He'll screw one of 'em together when he fiinds the slugs. Thanks, tho.

Re: Chebby pistons
Did you ever find a set of chevy pistons?
If not, I have a set that are 4.31bore on 6.535 rods ( was used on 4.5" crank in tall deck). They are a higher compression set I can get the specs if you like. I have a block as well, but it is filled to the top and will not work on the street. I even have a 4.5" crank, but it has a small hairline crack in it, but I would not be afraid to run it on the street. I just did not like turning 7800rpm on the track.
Just thought I would check and see
