This is in the pull off. Gotta pull some gear out & get that front end to relax a little.

Do you have to run your motor that high or was it just a combination of track and sled. A few years back we use to run as far as the tracks would allow us 450 + but when you look at how long your motor is up in Zing zing land it's not worth it when it's time to rebuild or freshen. Then we put a 325' limit on our runs Floating finish up to 325' then pull off. Once your sled operator know's your shooting for 325' you'll find your sweet spot.

I have on occasion twisted my motor to 8800 but I try to hold down to 8200.

pro fab 3 speed & 205 profabed case. These pulls were in third gear & the final is 25.5. bbf with ex 514 iron heads. At this pull we were supposed to be stopping around 315-325 floating finish. But some of the trucks blowed out the gate & ran out of track. So as I was hooking to the sled they announced 370ft would be the pull off only I did'nt hear it & I thought it was still floating & knew my buddy was out there at 373ft with an Oakley plant under the hood, so I leaned on it hard. Take a look at the front end, not much lift & it seems too stiff IDK scratch

JetBoatBob built a friend of mine a BBf for his truck. It's been singing a tune all year of 9400 rpm. The crowd of mostly all Chevy fans are usually all on their feet cheering after hearing it. They sure sound sweet up there for sure Very Happy

Thanks guys. I like to hear'em up there too. A bbf has a sound of it's own up that high if you ask me.
Fabio that small block sounds killer in the water box too! Twisted Evil

Sounds real nice, that particular bounce looks like track is a bit loose and the front is not lifting off stops. But what do I know, my truck likes to have a bobble too. Usually just as I let the clutch go. Mine generally subsides about 1/2 to 2/3 down the track.

Thanks Bret. I have watched video of your truck & that thing is nasty too. I do agree that my truck does'nt seem to be lifting off the stops, I'm just not sure why. I thought maybe the hitch was too steep so I flattened it some & it seem to have made the bounce worse. IDK-A
