I need a taller pulley, was going to get a one made (not cheap). These might work, I need the measurement to the from the back to the center of the V. Also, how much material is on the mounting face? I might still be cheaper/faster to turn one of these down.

most alternator can take 15,000 rpm so figure your crank pulley to alternator pulley. most gm and ford pulley will work on either alternator.mtacqua wrote:http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mch-147/overview/make/ford

not a bigger diameter, taller. the alternator is to close to the block (new bracket and already made some other changes not knowing I had this issue). Easy fix would be a pulley the stuck out further to line the belts up.

just and the distance to a stock pulley that needs to be moved out to the custom made pulley
OR do what Ford did and most others including me ..... ADD a spacer . btw , spacer doesnt move the pulley out on shaft but the whole ALT.out

yeah probably going to get a pulley made, just checking to see if this pulley was moved out as far as I needed. I am going to use a GZ pulley on the crank so I can go inside or out the vacuum pump pulley slot.
