what kinda car you running?

Im from southern ill...we run a 71 maverick..tube chasis car. Car goes 5.40s in the heat with a best of 5.34..eliminator block 572 and sadly enough a glide....looking to change to a heads this winter... Thanks for the interest..And yours?

I've got a 2012 247" M&M Dragster with a 466 BBF @ 800hp in it as training wheels have a pair 598 and 572 A460 motors for later once I get used to driving a dragster and a 1984 Mustang, S&W Back Half, BBF/ Glide.

Hey Maverick,we will get you too your post count w/this thread alone brother. Tell us about the Maverick,and don't be ashamed of the glide,if you are running 5.30's,chances are it has lost most of the Chevy parts anyway.

Here it goes.... My brother bought the car as a back half car in 91.. He ran 6.90s or so with it and drug me to the track every weekend... He got killed in a car wreck in 93 and the car sat until i was old enough... Dad and i started runing it in 99..and never looked back... First built a 514...then put a full round tube chasis in it and all fiberglass.. Last three yrs its had a eliminator block 572 with blue thunder heads a tunnel ram with two rons terminators and a trans speacialties ried case glide with a chance converter... Happy in the 5.30s but looking for a change to Aheads this winter.. If i was smart enough to post pics i would...and if i could cut a light every night all night id would have gone pro...lol. Thanks for the compliments on my ride.... Its been a long process and as you all no its never finished.. Showed my dad the pics you emailed me of your maverick and he likes it as well... If i had the money i would like to build a new style camero and power it with a big block ford.... Give the guys with mustangs with sbc something to talk about
